What are the advantages of laser therapy for nail fungus?
Choosing Onychomycosis Fungal Nail Laser Treatment at our Tamworth clinic offers numerous advantages:
-
Highly Effective: Clinical studies show significant clearance rates, especially when combined with proper foot hygiene and nail care.

-
Pain-Free & Non-Invasive: Treatment is quick (often under 30 minutes), with no need for anaesthesia or recovery time.

-
No Side Effects: Unlike oral antifungals, Laser doesn’t impact your liver or interact with medications.

-
Faster Results: While nail growth still takes time, many patients see cosmetic improvement within a few months.

-
Safe for Most Patients: Ideal for individuals who can’t take oral medications or haven’t had success with topical treatments.
Do we treat one foot or both feet?
There can be fungal spores on the nails, which are not always visible. As such, our advice would be to treat both feet. If there is cross contamination, there is a higher risk of the infection coming back.
Who cannot be treated?
People undergoing any sort of cancer treatment or anyone who has had a malignant tumour on the part of their body going into the laser (i.e. hand or foot) or clients with active infection or sunburn on the area being treated (hand or foot).

Laser treatment of fungal nail infection in our Tamworth Clinic, is quick, painless and just as successful as topical or tablet treatment without any side-effects.
One treatment every week for four weeks is required. Multiple nails can be treated at each laser session. Treatments from £40.00 per foot.
